Membership Options
Full membership: is for PEI individuals, partnerships or corporations engaged in the growing of tree fruits (such as, apples, pears, plums, peaches, cherries) and who earn income from the growing of fruit trees and have:
(i) a traditional orchard with a minimum of two (2) acres; or
(ii) a two (2) acre high density orchard (800 – 1,300 trees per acre, which must be trellised);
or such amount set from time to time at the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”). Full members are entitled to all privileges of membership including voting rights.
Associate membership: includes any interested members of the community with no, or less than two acres of, fruit trees planted in either type above. Associate Members are entitled to all privileges of membership with the exception of voting. Additional fees or costs may be charged Associate Members for services, at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
